Options IT Taps Celoxica for Managed Futures HFT

Subscribe to our newsletter

Managed data and transactions service provider Options IT has tapped Celoxica to provide HFT trading services for futures trading in the U.S. and Europe. By leveraging Celoxica’s Container technology and providing requisite server hardware and connectivity, Options IT customers need just to provide the algorithm code, and can be operational within days.

Celoxica’s recently-introduced Container leverages FPGA technology to boost performance for market data and order execution. As such, it provides a single server deployment option that is well suited to ultra-low-latency co-location.

The service will be rolled out initially at 350 East Cermak in Chicago, to service trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and IntercontinentalExchange. Deployment in Europe for the Liffe and Eurex markets will follow.
