MphasiS, a leading IT services provider, today announced a strategic relationship with Talend, a global open source software leader. This partnership will enable banking and capital markets customers to swiftly implement Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, cultivate profitable customer relationships, streamline data management operations, and manage risk more effectively. MDM implemented on the Talend enterprise platform uses the capability of Talend’s MDM end-to-end functionality for integration, quality and data mastering.

“We’re excited about our partnership with Talend. This enables us to further strengthen our offerings in the $3 billion MDM market space. We are witnessing our clients invest in multi-year, enterprise wide commitments towards data management initiatives. Our comprehensive MDM offerings and data strategy together with the Talend partnership will be a key differentiator in the market.” said Srikumar Ramanathan, Senior Vice President and Head of Banking and Capital Markets at MphasiS.

“Delivery of the Talend MDM platform leverages an active data model to create a source of reliable and accurate master data without being constrained to a rigid or static domain model,” said Keith Goldstein, Talend’s vice president of indirect channels. “Talend MDM Enterprise Edition provides the necessary components to construct a Master Data Hub as a repository for the semantic data layer. MDM is a natural fit for financial services and MphasiS is the ideal partner to bring this to the industry.”

MphasiS and Talend are co-hosting a free webinar, on 23rd November 2011 and will showcase Talend’s MDM solution combined with MphasiS’ expert MDM knowledge within the banking and capital markets.
