Mark-it Partners has agreed to acquire Totem Market Valuations, a provider of OTC derivatives consensus valuations. Tim Barker, CEO of Totem, will join Mark-it Partners’ management team as executive vice president. Key drivers: Totem’s Dividend Directory (DADD), which provides the eponymous market standard in dividend forecasting used by major investment banks and funds, and the Index Management Service, which consolidates and validates indices from the major providers.
