Interactive Data Corporation, a provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, today announced that its Pricing and Reference Data Business is providing its Probate Valuations service to Title Research, an estate administration and specialist probate research company. Launched in 2006, the service can help clients to value UK and international securities for probate purposes and is designed to conform to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) requirements for Probate and Inheritance Tax valuations.

Interactive Data’s Probate Valuations service offers valuations for more than six million global listed securities and funds, as well as unit trusts, and takes into account undistributed dividends and interest. Valuations of hard-to-price securities are also available. Interactive Data provides this data from stock exchanges, fund managers and other sources worldwide. The service is designed for use by estate administrators, stockbrokers, fund managers, private client wealth managers and solicitors.

“Interactive Data’s Probate Valuations service offers a timely solution to what can be a complicated, expensive and time-consuming task,” said Anthony Neville, divisional director, Interactive Data. “Our large team of professionals is dedicated to the production and delivery of this service and provides a fast turnaround time.”

Julia Szczepanski, general manager, Title Research, added: “Our agreement with Interactive Data allows our clients to rapidly access share valuation data from a leading global provider at a much more affordable price, while receiving a high level of client support.”
