Information Mosaic Transfers Bermingham from Ireland to the US

In a bid to gain more traction in the US region, corporate actions solution vendor Information Mosaic has transferred its global sales support team head, Gerard Bermingham, from Ireland to the US. Bermingham has now been appointed vice president of product consulting for Information Mosaic Americas and will be charged with overseeing the vendor’s planned expansion in the local market.

Bermingham has been with Information Mosaic for six years, before which he was deputy head of operations for Goodbody Stockbrokers, one of Ireland’s longest established stockbroking firms and a wholly owned subsidiary of AIB Capital Markets plc.

The vendor views the US as a key geographic region in which to expand its client base and has been working on establishing relationships with partners and industry associations in the region. It is pinning its hopes on Bermingham and his team to further boost its reach and competitive edge in the tough US environment.

Earlier this year, Information Mosaic signed a multi-year agreement with Broadridge Financial Solutions in order to install its corporate actions solution, cama, in the outsourcing solution vendor’s back office service bureau platform. The deal allowed Broadridge to launch its new Global Corporate Actions Solution (GCAS) on the market in June, which purports to provide a fully managed corporate actions service to those looking to outsource the processing of this traditionally manually intensive area.

Other than that deal, it has been a fairly quiet year for Information Mosaic in terms of public client announcements. The last big public deal, its largest in fact, was the rollout of its solution at JPMorgan Chase’s global custody unit in the UK. The vendor is likely hoping for similar deals from the US to materialise.
