International Financial Data Services (IFDS) has hired Daniel Carpenter as head of U.K. sales, reporting to managing director Paul Roberts. IFDS is a transfer agency joint venture between DST Systems and State Street. Carpenter was previously sales and marketing director at Cor Financial Solutions, and has held positions at Kinetic Information Systems, Primark – now part of Thomson Financial – and Britannia Software.
