Global Merces Selects SS&C Solutions to Support Growth

Australian alternative asset manager, Global Merces, has selected SS&C’s investment accounting, asset servicing and mutual fund platforms to support growth both locally and globally. The deal marks SS&C’s first Australian client win since it closed the acquisition of DST Systems earlier this year.

Global Merces selected SS&C’s HiTrust unit registry and pricing solution because it offered the fastest time-to-value implementation and is fully integrated with SS&C’s investment accounting platform, HiPortfolio.

Holly Grofski, managing director and CEO of Global Merces, says: “From the outset, we were impressed with SS&C’s deep industry knowledge and its flexible and innovative solutions. The implementation process moved very quickly and we are now going live on a market leading platform in an incredibly short period of time. Global Merces has ambitious plans in the region and globally. In SS&C, we are confident we have a long-term partner that shares our dynamic and innovative approach, and will work with us to support our ambitions.”

Global Merces will use SS&C’s combined solution to manage increasing regulatory complexity. By choosing to self-administer its mutual funds using HiTrust technology, the asset manager will reduce time spent on operational tasks and controls, while increasing capacity for client service.
