Financial Technologies Rolls Out StreetDirector to Two Clients

Subscribe to our newsletter

Financial Technologies International has rolled out its new StreetDirector transaction lifecycle processing engine at a global brokerage and a large investment bank. The system is part of FTI’s StreetEnterprise suite of services, and draws upon clients’ chosen reference data management systems, books and records, and transactions data to monitor and control the work flow associated with a trade.

Ramsay Stirling, product manager for StreetDirect, says the two clients for the system have longstanding relationships with FTI; both are believed to use the full suite of FTI systems. Stirling declines to name the clients. However, he says the firms will use the system to bring a consistent process for handling transactions across all areas of the business.

Stirling says StreetDirect is available for all platforms so far requested by clients, including Sun Solaris and Oracle. He adds that FTI is looking seriously at making the system available in the Linux environment. StreetDirect is available both as a standalone product or integrated as part of the StreetDirect suite. Stirling says FTI is actively marketing StreetDirect, which has taken two years to bring to market.
