SunGard Hires Aloni to Head Data Management Technology

SunGard Data Management Solutions has named Ariel Aloni to lead design and direction of its technology strategy. Aloni was previously chief architect at Electronic Broking Services (EBS), an electronic interdealer broker in the foreign exchange marketplace. Before joining EBS, Aloni was director of data messaging at Merrill Lynch.

Rivero Departs from London Stock Exchange

Roberto Rivero has left the London Stock Exchange where he was responsible for new initiatives, most noteworthy of which was the exchange’s acquisition of Proquote, the exchange’s stockbrokerage information systems unit. Rivero was previously at Royalblue and before that Primark.
