After successful deployment of Volante Designer with SWIFT messaging support, the London Stock Exchange’s UnaVista has added FIX and XML support, Volante Technologies announced today.

The implementation will facilitate expansion of the UnaVista matching, reconciliation and data integration engine into new business areas, including linking UnaVista to the Exchange’s FIX gateway, and supporting the implementation of UnaVista’s new post-trade solutions.

“As part of our continuing efforts to make UnaVista’s services as accessible as possible, we will be linking UnaVista customers to our FIX gateway, as well as opening other transmissions channels based on FIX and XML,” said Mark Husler, Head of Business Development at London Stock Exchange. “Our experience in implementing Volante Designer for Swift messaging integration illustrated how effectively it supported our development plans. We chose the additional messaging formats from Volante to speed up implementation times, and reduce the overhead of managing different message types.”

“UnaVista is an excellent showcase for Volante’s capabilities, and we are delighted to expand our relationship with the London Stock Exchange,” said Vijay Oddiraju, CEO of Volante, “In supporting a growing range of message types, Volante technology will enable UnaVista to meet its business objectives more rapidly. Our scalability to high volumes and ultra-low latency are benefits that the Exchange can depend upon as UnaVista grows. We are exceptionally proud to be involved with this project.”

Volante Designer is an award-winning solution for data integration. Volante integration solutions work on any platform, application or network, including proprietary systems like UnaVista. Domain-aware Volante Format Plug-ins accelerate implementations with support of financial messaging such as FIX, FAST FIX, SWIFT, FpML, vendor and exchange market feeds, as well as proprietary message formats.
