Thomson Reuters has made its international pricing and reference data services available to the Thai market via its partnership with Wealth Management System Limited (WMSL). Alfred Lee, business head of South East Asia at Thomson Reuters, explains that the alliance with WMSL is aimed at increasing the vendor’s footprint in Southeast Asia.

“Our alliance with WMSL supports the growth we see in Southeast Asia. Through strategic initiatives Thomson Reuters aims to become the primary data vendor for delivering cross asset end of day prices, reference data and corporate actions in the region,” explains Lee.

Thomson Reuters’ end of day pricing and corporate actions data is now available on a new standard interface on the WMSL Bonanza system. The vendor claims the offering will enable financial institutions in the region to automate portfolio valuations with a view to improving their customer service and risk and compliance monitoring.
