Swift to Kick-Off Prototype CA Message Certification

Later this year Swift will start a certification proof of concept of the Swift Testing and Certification Service for ISO 15022 compliant corporate actions messages. A number of custodians and vendors have com-mitted to having their messages exam-ined by this prototype testing tool. The messages will be tested against the standard Swift verification, and then verified against market practice estab-lished by the Securities Market Practice Groups and the Event Interpretation Grid (which contains a set of rules about how to use the messages).
