Swift Outlines Calendar for Market Data Vendor Category

Following its launch of a pilot for market data suppliers to offer their services via its network, Swift has outlined the timeline for the proposed adoption of a new participant category for these vendors. Speaking at the Sixth Annual Conference on Corporate Actions Processing in New York last month, Swift partner solutions business manager Linda Bookheim said eight customers were participating in the pilot, which involves vendors Telekurs Financial, Financial Times Interactive Data, Reuters and WM Datenservice. The pilot will run until June 2004, when the Swift AGM will consider market data vendors as a new category of participant.
