SPiCE VC Invests in Forthcoming Digital Securities Exchange Archax

SPiCE VC, a fully tokenised venture capital fund, is investing in Archax, a forthcoming London-based institutional digital securities exchange. With plans to launch in 2019, Archax is primed to provide a venue for institutions and professional investors to trade in all types of security tokens globally. As part of SPiCE’s investment, Ami Ben-David will be joining the Archax advisory board.

Archax is an institutional-grade exchange for trading asset-backed tokens such as digital securities and security tokens. Headed by a team of experts including CEO Graham Rodford and chief technology officer Andrew Flatt, and backed by an accomplished advisory board, Archax offers a credible bridge between the blockchain world and the traditional investment space.

Ben-David, co-founder and managing partner at SPiCE VC, comments: “When we started SPiCE, security tokens were in their early stages. By tokenising ourselves and investing in key infrastructure plays in the security token ecosystem, we have become a pioneer in the space. We focus on early stage opportunities with great teams who have the vision and ability to challenge and change the status quo. Archax fits the bill and will round out our portfolio by providing a credible institutional venue for all the security token initiatives we are involved with.”
