SIX Telekurs and TNS Intensify Collaboration to Target Growth in Asia

Financial information provider SIX Telekurs and Transaction Network Services, a global data connectivity provider, are intensifying their collaboration to source real-time market data from high growth financial centres in Asia.

TNS will host communications between market data sources in Asia and SIX Telekurs? regional data centre in Singapore. Significant among the data sources are stock exchanges in Thailand and Taiwan as well as the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges. Global market participants will benefit from the added reliability and market cover made possible by this new phase of the collaboration.

“TNS have helped us ensure interoperability across critical networks in Asia,” explained Paul Bollhalder, Managing Director, SIX Telekurs Asia Pacific – ex Japan. The enhanced collaboration enables the delivery of real-time pricing and orderbook data. “We have been able to extend our geographical reach significantly, and cost effectively, while at the same time improving service levels,” continued Bollhalder.
