Schroders has deployed the Reference Manager software from Eagle Investment Systems across its London, New York and Tokyo operations as part of a global reference data management solution. The asset management firm is using the data management and workflow capabilities of the Eagle software to centralise all of its security reference data in one location and build a consistent data model across all of its global offices.

Marc Nield, executive director of institutional IT at Schroders, says, “As we started to deploy global applications, we quickly realized that we needed a solution that would help with the management and distribution of consistent security reference data throughout our organisation, help to reduce discrepancies, and validate the accuracy of large volumes of data.”

The Eagle Reference Manager deployment is one part of a larger implement-ation project currently taking place at Schroders. Last year, it licensed the Eagle Reference Manager and Eagle Pace, Portal and Performance components.
