The corporate actions working group of the Reference Data User Group (RDUG) is planning to outline a set of standards for issuers of corporate actions events. The group is planning a year-end release of a white paper focusing on interpretation risk, where parties are forced to interpret the details of an event for processing, and offer recommendations on creating a more structured format for announcing events.
