PaceMetrics, a global provider of process-driven enterprise data management and process monitoring solutions, today announced that Patrick James “PJ” O’Kane has been appointed as principal consultant. With a strong background in pricing and risk management in banking, O’Kane will be responsible for expanding the PaceMetrics product suite. As part of this he will focus on the further development of PaceMaker, PaceMetrics’ monitoring and operational dashboard solution. He will be based at the company’s Dublin office and will report directly to CEO Gerry Giblin.

O’Kane brings more than 20 years product management and financial services software delivery experience to PaceMetrics. He joins the company after five years at Citigroup, where he most recently served as vice president and product manager in its Global Transaction Services (GTS) division. Prior to Citigroup, he was a senior product line manager for Siebel’s retail banking division and worked as chief analyst on risk management and pricing applications across a number of financial software providers.

Commenting on his new role, O’Kane noted: “PaceMetrics’ expansion strategy and its agile development approach were what really drove me to join the team. I look forward to using the knowledge gained throughout my career in financial services and technology in my product management role, especially in overseeing the further development of PaceMaker. The flexibility offered by PaceMaker means it can provide the crucial link between applications and their users to deliver real business value.”

Giblin added: “Financial institutions really appreciate the benefits of continuous monitoring of business processes in reducing risk and improving efficiency and customer satisfaction levels. PJ, with his extensive experience in financial services technology and product management, is ideally qualified to strengthen our product leadership team and we welcome him aboard.”
