ITRS Group is collaborating with MapR to integrate the latter’s AI and analytics platform into its Geneos real-time monitoring and analytics tool. MapR software will be integrated into ITRS’ Gateway Hub, a new module available to Geneos customers that will make it easier for them to capture data and alerts, and use a range of capabilities including incident investigation and smarter and more automated monitoring. The integration of Geneos and MapR software has started, with go live expected in Q3, 2018.

Mark Loader, head of product management, marketing and partners at ITRS, says: “This partnership gives us an integrated big data solution with improved security, scalability and ease of deployment when compared to the open source Hadoop stack. With Gateway Hub our customers will have access to real-time and historical data for all of their Geneos metrics, the ability to create more dynamic rules based on this data and simplified, centralised configuration. Customers will also gain access to an enhanced user interface for Geneos, which will be rolled out over time”.

Martin Darling, country manager UK at MapR, says the partnership will help financial institutions process huge amounts of information, while avoiding the problems of missing any data, which can lead to downtime, missed trades and reputational risk.
