In line with its ongoing restructuring under the watchful eye of its private equity owners, Interactive Data has hired ex-Omgeo and GoldenSource exec Fritz McCormick to act as a senior product director for its Pricing and Reference Data segment. McCormick joins from Aite Group where he was a senior analyst with a focus on enterprise data management and post-trade processing for just under two years.

Prior to joining Aite Group, McCormick served as director of new initiatives at Omgeo, where he was responsible for the evolution of the vendor’s data services and for investigating opportunities to provide solutions that leverage that data for a year and a half. Before this, he was vice president of business development and alliances with the GoldenSource Corporation, where he conducted alliance management activities, strategic research and planning, and market analysis for the enterprise software vendor for just under five years. Prior to that he worked at Celent as a senior analyst for four years.
