Following the appointment of Walt Laliberte as managing director for North America in February, financial technology vendor DST International (DSTi) has appointed another new recruit to the US team: Edward Fleck. Fleck, who has previously worked with Laliberte, joins as head of relationship management activities for the vendor’s North American clients.

Prior to his appointment, Fleck was a solution partner in the financial services practice of EMC Consulting, providing strategy, process and technology consulting services. Previously, he was a vice president at Fidelity Investments, and a senior executive in the asset and wealth management practice at Accenture.

The vendor hopes Fleck’s experience of technology strategy and planning, large scale application development, programme and project management and business process improvement will lend itself to his new role.
