Cadis Platform Puts Robeco in Control of Data Consumption

Robeco, the Netherlands based asset management specialist, has streamlined its data needs via the Cadis EDM platform. Live since February 2011, Cadis, the global EDM specialist, provides Robeco’s Price, Rates and Security Master Management – increasing flexibility and transparency. The decision to choose Cadis comes after a highly effective Proof of Concept (PoC) which saw the implementation kick-off just three months later.

“In a short space of time Cadis has created a global data hub, enabling us to source, consolidate, validate and distribute data worldwide,” said Sacha van Ulft, Project Manager at Robeco. “This scalable system has laid the foundation of our EDM strategy to cope as our environments and needs change.”

Robeco has EUR 150 billion in assets under management.

“With data volumes ever increasing, putting a scalable platform in place is essential for effective front office, risk and back-office data rationalisation. The Cadis platform has centralised data across 15 data feeds and business applications for Robeco and this was performed in a fraction of the time compared with traditional approaches,” said Franck Willaime, Managing Director, Continental Europe, Cadis. “Our platform replaces the incumbent first generation EDM platform as well as internally developed databases.
