Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH) announced today the successful launch of its ActionWorld 2.0 release for its existing web-based, real-time corporate actions notification, response and payment platform. The upgraded solution well positions BBH’s clients to address growing complexity and challenges surrounding securities and cash management related to corporate actions.

Building on BBH’s current ActionWorld platform, the 2.0 release provides clients real-time access to enriched and improved corporate action data, greater flexibility for information delivery, increased transparency, customised service models and enhanced risk and control management tools surrounding Notification, Response, Payment & Tax Reclaim products. In particular, the enhancements address industry challenges related to the cash management of corporate events and the growing complexity of international tax law regulations, while providing an enhanced, web-based corporate actions reporting platform, accessible via BBH’s WorldView client reporting portal.

“BBH has launched ActionWorld 2.0 in an effort to address an area of growing complexity in the industry and position our clients to meet the current and future challenges of securities and cash management, with regard to international corporate actions,” said Anthony Depalma, head of corporate actions for BBH. “By taking a modular approach, we’ve been able to benefit from automation efforts and provide greater transparency and accessibility to information for our clients.”
