Barra Broadens Coverage of Cosmos Bond Portfolio System

Barra has expanded the coverage of its Cosmos bond portfolio management system to include a wider range of securities and benchmarks. The new version – Cosmos 3.1 – has broader U.S. fixed-income coverage. Barra has also added a number of indices, including the iboxx euro and sterling credit indices and mortgages. In addition, Cosmo 3.1 features new market-implied credit ratings and an expanded credit spread model.
