Alveo Extends ESG Data Provision with Integration of ICE Company Data and SFDR Analytics

Alveo has integrated Intercontinental Exchange’s (ICE’s) ESG Company Data and SFDR analytics into its Prime data management solution. Integrated content includes the Principal Adverse Indicators (PAIs) of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), EU Taxonomy data, as well as hundreds of additional data points on the ESG profile of companies. Alveo also partners with FactSet on ESG data, integrates with other data products from ICE, and recently extended its data relationship with SIX.

ICE ESG content is mapped and cross-referenced to Alveo’s standard data model, allowing firms to easily integrate the data with their internal data sets. Using Alveo’s Ops360 user interface, clients can set up their own ESG metrics, visualise ICE content, and distribute it downstream to stakeholders and applications. Data lineage tracks each data point and any changes to it.

“ESG is not just another regulatory reporting exercise,” says Mark Hepsworth, CEO at Alveo. “Financial services firms need an in-depth understanding of the sustainability profile of their investment products and portfolios, but they face challenges when it comes to ESG data availability, comparability and usability. One of the biggest challenges is operationalising high-quality ESG information and integrating it into workflows. We are working with ICE to make this happen.”
