Axioma Partners For Fame Data In Portfolio Software

Subscribe to our newsletter

Fame Information Services has formed a partnership with Axioma, a New York developer of portfolio construction and optimisation software to provide clients with integration between Fame’s financial database products and Axioma’s PortfolioPrecision software.

At the heart of the alliance is a modular data loader that connects directly to Fame databases without any custom integration. Pre-configured data conduits eliminate the single largest challenge in implementing portfolio management software. Asset management clients and IT managers will now benefit from a marked reduction in implementation cycle-time and cost, accelerating time-to-productivity.

Sebastian Ceria, president & CEO of Axioma says, “Portfolio managers will derive even more value from the Fame services by integrating Axioma’s decision support tool for portfolio management”.

The PortfolioPrecision software, which is based on proprietary optimisation algorithms, was the basis of a strategic agreement between Axioma and Morgan Stanley at the end of last year. As part of the alliance, Morgan Stanley’s structuring and execution services were bundled with Axioma’s software, and Morgan Stanley now holds an equity investment in Axioma.
