LDA Launches Configurable Low-Latency Platforms for Trading and AI Workloads

Subscribe to our newsletter

LDA Technologies has launched two configurable hardware platforms designed to help capital markets firms scale low-latency connectivity and compute capacity while reducing infrastructure footprint.

OmniX combines FPGA-powered networking, Layer 1 connectivity and hot-pluggable storage within a 1RU platform, allowing firms to tap, timestamp and record data within a single device. Configurations can incorporate LDA’s Maze Layer 1 fabric, supporting connectivity from 10G to 25G, or its lower-latency Neo fabric.

Torus targets compute-intensive trading, high-performance computing and AI workloads, supporting eight-board configurations across expandable 1RU and 2RU deployments. Maze can also provide a configurable Layer 1 mesh connecting components within the chassis at latency of 3.6 to 4.2 nanoseconds.

The platforms are designed to allow firms to scale connectivity and processing without continually adding separate appliances, external switches and cabling, while supporting custom configurations based on individual workloads.
