Suvrat Bansal, head of innovation and chief data officer, and managing director at UBS Asset Management, described the digitalisation programme he is leading across the asset manager at A-Team Group’s Data Management Summit on September 20, 2018 in New York City.
He noted approaches to digitalisation and implementation policies based on central capabilities in analytics, master and data governance that are offered to business and functional leaders for their own local digital transformation efforts.
He also covered the programme’s data strategy, investment in new technologies where appropriate, and use of open source solutions.
The end goal, in line with UBS Asset Management tradition, is to provide innovative investment products and services for clients, and to improve client service.
