Bringing a proven leadership track record, Bo Nordlander is to take over as head of the Nordic subsidiaries of SIX Telekurs with effect from January 1, 2010. Interim Chief Executive Officer Bo Strandberg will continue his duties on the Board of Directors.

Bo Nordlander will push ahead with the upgrading of existing front office systems in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. His work will also focus on setting up a network for the distribution of SIX Telekurs products to Scandinavian customers.

SIX Telekurs CEO Thomas Gross explains the reasons behind the appointment as follows: “In Bo Nordlander we have chosen a strong leader with many years of experience in the Nordic market, an area where we aim to achieve significant growth in our established fields such as trading, displays and SIX Telekurs products for the back office and risk management.”

Prior to joining Tieto, Bo Nordlander, who has a degree in economics, held the post of CEO at Abaris AB and before that at Entra AB, two leading financial solutions companies in the Scandinavian market.
