Reuters has forged a strategic alliance with FOW TradeData, a supplier of fundamental reference data for exchange-traded futures and options. The alliance will see combine around 20,000 of Reuters instrument codes (RICs) with FOW TradeData’s premium futures and options reference data tagged with around 20,000 Reuters instrument codes (RICS), which are now offered as part of Reuters DataScope. FOW TradeData takes in data from all of the major derivatives exchanges and complements this information by cleansing and validating it.
