Imagine Software Adds Panopticon Dashboards to Portfolio Management

Imagine Software has partnered Datawatch to resell the latter’s Panopticon visual analytics platform with its portfolio risk and compliance management solutions. The Panopticon visual analysis software enables easier monitoring and analysis of risk and profitability in real time, while the company’s business intelligence dashboards help organise data portfolios that risk managers have to navigate, reducing noise and consolidating critical analytics in an accessible console.

The partnership is designed to give investment banks, hedge funds, broker dealers, pension funds, asset managers and prime brokers access to a wide range of optimised business intelligence. More specifically, it allows Imagine customers using Panopticon solutions to connect to a range of real-time and historical data sources – including message buses and Big Data repositories – and build custom analytical dashboards in minutes. This enables users to respond quickly to market events and make decisions that affect their organisation’s profitability, compliance and exposure during the trading day, as opposed to waiting for end-of-day or end-of-period reports.

Lance Smith, CEO and co-founder of Imagine Software, comments: “That’s a tremendous business advantage over depending on the backward-looking, historical information that many financial firms still use to make critical decisions.”
