DST Global Solutions Appoints Head of Investment Accounting Solutions for North America

DST Global Solutions, a provider of business solutions and services to the global investment management industry, has today announced the appointment of Michael Lauritzen as investment accounting solution manager for North America.

Lauritzen previously served as head of DST Global Solutions’ consultancy services in North America. Prior to joining DST Global Solutions Lauritzen was director of business development for Mosiki Development. Lauritzen has nearly 20 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry focusing on operations and application development.

Lauritzen will be responsible for strengthening DST Global Solutions’ investment accounting solution in North America and will provide subject matter expertise to the region. Speaking about his appointment, Lauritzen commented: “I am excited to take on this new role in support of our investment accounting solutions in North America. DST Global Solutions has a well established track record for delivering solutions within investment accounting. Our continual investment in the development of our investment accounting products such as the HiNet solution demonstrates our commitment to meeting the needs of our clients.”

Lauritzen will report to David Wright, global head of investment accounting solutions for DST Global Solutions. Commenting on the new appointment, Wright said: “I am extremely pleased to bring Mike on board to help meet the investment accounting needs of our North American clients. Mike’s depth of industry knowledge will help us continue to work proactively with our clients to focus on their issues and provide broad-ranging, relevant investment accounting solutions. I look forward to the positive impact Mike will have on existing as well as new clients.”
