Don’t miss it! A-Team Group is back in New York on 16 November 2022 with its sixth RegTech Summit. The event will be packed with keynotes, presentations and panel sessions hosted by industry leaders and joined by regulators, leading RegTech practitioners, product innovators, and regulatory related organisations.

The Summit will be followed by this year’s A-Team Group RegTech Insight Awards USA, which will be presented during a drinks reception joined by conference participants as well as potential award winners.

Haimera Workie, Vice President and Head of Financial Innovation at FINRA will lead the event with a keynote covering the organisation’s perspective on RegTech. Taking a practical approach to regulatory reporting, Emma Kalliomaki, Managing Director at ANNA and the Derivatives Services Bureau (DSB), will review the Unique Product Identifier (UPI) and present how best to implement the identifier to meet emerging global regulatory mandates.

Panel sessions

The Summit panel sessions will cover pretty much everything you need to know about regulatory change, effective responses and useful RegTech solutions. An early session will look at the future of risk, compliance and RegTech from a practitioner and regulator perspective. Digging deeper, a second panel will discuss how to adopt a holistic approach to regulatory change management and the journey from cost to opportunity. Another will discuss how to ease the burden of regulatory reporting through digitisation.

Addressing the hot topic of the CFTC rewrite, a panel of practitioners and regulators will take a deep dive into trade reporting requirements as the regulator moves on in early December from CFTC 1.0 to CFTC 2.0. Up for discussion are the challenges of CFTC 2.0 for financial institutions, approaches to compliance, useful RegTech solutions, and how the SEC is responding to changes at the CFTC.

Also on the agenda are responsible use of AI, trade and communications surveillance, and how to effectively navigate AML and financial crime compliance processes using RegTech.

With so many opportunities for RegTech to support compliance and add value, now is the time to invest for the future. Join A-Team’s RegTech Summit New York to find out how to advance your RegTech strategy, where to innovate, and how you can deliver value for the business.

See you there – Wednesday 16 November 2022, Convene, 237 Park Avenue, New York.
