Reuters DataScope has forged a strategic alliance with Dutch data management vendor Asset Control. The two companies plan to integrate their products, offering clients Reuters DataScope pricing, historical and reference information services within Asset Control’s data management systems. The deal is aimed at making Reuters’ equities, fixed-income and corporate actions services more quickly deployable within the enterprise environment. Ken Payne, director of sales and marketing at Asset Control, said: “By pre-integrating Reuters data into our platform, we reduce implementation time and expense, while providing a robust and scalable platform to consolidate data silos and brings an end to expensive integration projects and failed transactions.” Separately, Reuters announced its long-heralded win at State Street. State Street Global Markets, the investment research and trading arm of State Street Corp., selected Reuters DataScope to provide support for its fixed-income trading business.
