Torstone Hires Sam Farrell as Head of North America

Torstone Technology, the SaaS platform for post-trade securities and derivatives processing, has appointed Sam Farrell as Head of North America, based in Toronto. He will have oversight of all Torstone’s US and Canadian operations and will be tasked with expanding Torstone’s footprint in North America.

Prior to joining Torstone, Farrell spent the last 35 years in Canadian financial services, having previously worked at RBC, TD Securities, Scotiabank, and most recently at Credit Suisse Canada as a senior operations leader. Over his career, he has led a number of significant initiatives, including the Credit Suisse migration to Torstone’s Cloud Platform.
