TS Imagine and Cassini Systems Collaborate to Offer Intelligent Margin and Collateral Analytics for Derivatives

TS Imagine, the trading, portfolio and risk management platform provider, has entered into a partnership with Cassini Systems, provider of margin and collateral analytics for derivatives market participants, to make Cassini’s intelligent margin and collateral analytics available through TS Imagine’s product suite.

The strategic partnership will provide users of TS Imagine’s technology with access to Cassini’s intelligent analytics across both OTC and exchange traded derivatives (ETD) products, adding to the firm’s existing suite of proprietary cross-asset analytics. This will give investment and risk teams front-to-back margin and cost analysis across the entire lifecycle of a trade, with Cassini’s solution covering in-depth margin, collateral and cost analytics for all classes of cleared and uncleared OTC derivatives as well as futures and options.

By integrating these core competencies into TS Imagine’s product suite, the partnership aims to bring post-trade analytics into the pre-trade process. Users will be able to calculate margin requirements and optimise collateral usage in derivatives markets, analyse drivers and movement in margin exposure, reduce initial margin levels and maximize margin efficiency.

“Today’s announcement combines decades of experience in our respective fields to deliver our clients a comprehensive and in-depth suite of analytics,” commented Andrew Morgan, President and Chief Revenue Officer at TS Imagine. “Working closely with Cassini, we can help investment and risk management teams streamline workflows, cut complexity and control their total cost of ownership. This partnership will draw on the strong synergies between our businesses to deliver our clients best-in-breed functionality through a single system – a significant advantage in fast-paced markets.”

Liam Huxley, CEO and Founder of Cassini Systems, added: “We have built Cassini System’s margin and collateral analytics capabilities over many years to help firms trade and manage their exposures in highly complex derivatives markets. This partnership is an important milestone for both firms, opening our powerful customised calculations and analytics to new audiences in combination with TS Imagine’s technology to empower users across the hedge fund and prime brokerage space.”

TS Imagine’s partnership with Cassini follows its recent announcement that it is partnering with regulatory compliance solutions provider eflow, to bring trade surveillance capabilities into its existing suite of solutions. Earlier this summer, TS Imagine also announced its integration of CLSA’s AI-powered European algorithmic trading suite into its platform.
