State Street Global Advisors Appoints Head of UK, Middle East and Africa Institutional Business

State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management business of State Street Corporation, today announced the appointment of Susan Raynes as head of its UK, Middle East and Africa (UKMEA) institutional business.

Raynes will report to Greg Ehret, head of SSgA Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and will be responsible for identifying institutional business growth opportunities in the region. She will be involved with all client-facing activity, including sales, consultant relations and relationship management. Raynes will also join the SSgA European Executive Committee.

Prior to this role, Raynes was senior managing director, head of SSgA’s San Francisco office. She will relocate to London this month.

Ehret commented: “We are delighted to welcome Susan to the UKMEA team. Having been with SSgA for 15 years and most recently working with some of the largest institutional investors globally, Susan has a wealth of experience that will be invaluable as we seek to further grow our presence within the region.”
