Liquid Holdings Group announced the appointments of financial services industry veterans Jeremy Shaw, Richard Boesch and Isaac Babani to senior financial engineers in the firm’s risk analytics team. (Liquid press release.)
CME hired (my former work colleague) Ross Stuart as senior director of information products management. CME Group also announced executive team appointments with several staff assuming new roles. Bryan T. Durkin will take on a newly created role as chief commercial officer. Kim Taylor, will lead all of the company’s operational functions globally (Clearing, Operations, Technology and Platform Development) as president, global operations, technology & risk. Derek Sammann will be responsible for leading the firm’s energy, metals and agricultural products teams as senior managing director, commodity and options products. Sean Tully will oversee CME Group interest rate, equity, foreign exchange and OTC businesses as senior managing director, financial and OTC products. Robert Zagotta will be responsible for the development and execution of the company’s corporate strategy as senior managing director, strategy & execution. (CME press release.)
