O’Dwyer Takes On UK Corporate Actions For SmartStream

SmartStream Technologies has appointed Jeremy O’Dwyer to head its UK Corporate Actions team in London, a newly created position to leverage SmartStream’s recent acquisition of Effective Solutions and to drive business development of its TLM corporate actions product. He brings more than 20 years of in-depth experience of the financial services marketplace from both the client and consultancy side.

For the past seven years, O’Dwyer has worked for the consulting arms of Oracle, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and most recently IBM. his career began in the IT department of Banque Nationale de Paris (now BNP Paribas), which was followed by 10 years at Flemings (now part of JP Morgan). O’Dwyer will work alongside Paul Phillips, business analyst. Phillips joined SmartStream in August 2002 from ABN Amro, where he was corporate actions manager. In total, Phillips has over eight years financial markets experience.
