Following the announcement of his selection as Stuart Clark’s successor in November, Raymond D’Arcy has finally stepped into the role of president and CEO of Interactive Data. After 13 years at the helm of the vendor, Clark is retiring but will stay on as advisor for the next few months to help D’Arcy adjust to his new role.

The CEO succession process began in May 2008 when Clark announced his intention to retire in 2009 and the board announced the selection of D’Arcy in November 2008. Clark has also stepped down from serving as a member of the board of directors for D’Arcy to take his place.

D’Arcy has held a variety of senior sales, marketing, product management and finance positions at Interactive Data and was most recently president of its sales and marketing organisation.
