SuperDerivatives, provider of options pricing and a multi-asset derivatives platform for revaluation and risk management, has been chosen by Nordic bank Carnegie Investment Bank AB to perform independent valuation services for its equity derivatives portfolio.

Per Jutemar, group operational risk manager at Carnegie, says the choice to use SuperDerivatives Revaluation Center is part of a complete revision of its risk and compliance infrastructure. The bank chose the vendor due to its coverage of both Nordic and international equities, Jutemar explains.

Dani Weigert, head of revaluation services at SuperDerivatives, adds: ”Recent market turmoil combined with the operational risk inherent to options trading have underlined the need for systematic, independent risk management.”

Carnegie is the largest independent Nordic investment bank and is present in eight countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the UK and the US.
