Top Australian fund manager BT Investment Management (BTIM) has selected Cadis to build its centralised data management platform.

Phil Stockwell, chief operating officer, BTIM said, “This is the first step to building a long term enterprise data management capability, enabling business growth, improving operational efficiency and providing quality data to support our investment teams.”

The decision to partner with Cadis came after an extensive selection process and successful proof of concept evaluation.

“Cadis will act as an integration layer between us and external service providers. We achieved everything we set out to in the proof of concept and are looking forward to working with Cadis on implementation,” said Steven Longo, BTIM head of information technology.

“BTIM will be able to manage all the data management challenges between its front and back office systems and Cadis will provide the integration layer between BTIM and third party service providers,” said Mike Meaney, managing director, Cadis Asia Pacific.

Cadis has a 100% successful implementation record throughout the globe and is renowned for getting systems up and running seven to ten times faster than comparable solutions.

Existing clients in the Asia Pacific region include HSBC, Invesco and Aberdeen Asset Management.
