Now in its fifth year, the prestigious awards recognise the innovative projects created across the vendor and practitioner communities that provide high-value solutions to organisations within capital markets and which have a focus on data management, trading technology, RegTech or ESG.

The Platinum Winner for 2025 is Cognaize, which took the Most Innovative Implementation of Knowledge Graph Technologies award. Cognaize’s knowledge graph technology helps institutions enhance the reasoning capabilities of the large language models behind their generative AI (GenAI) applications.

Among the Gold Winners is S&P Global Market Intelligence, which took the Most Innovative use of Generative AI award.

A Celebration

Andrew Delaney, president and chief content officer at A-Team Group, hailed the quality of entries in this year’s awards.

“The recipients of these awards impressed the judges for their groundbreaking solutions and services, making the awards a celebration of innovative projects and teams across vendor and practitioner communities,” Delaney said.

“I’d like to offer my congratulations to the winners of our Innovation Awards 2025, all of whose entries demonstrate an outstanding dedication to making the work of capital markets participants that much easier and helps them to derive greater value from their data and technology.”

The Innovation Awards 2025 comprised more than 40 categories across A-Team Group’s Data Management Insight, TradingTech Insight and RegTech Insight.

Cognaize explained that Knowledge Graph Augmented Generation (KAG) can ensure superior accuracy and deeper insights for complex financial scenarios. The structured, schema-aware approach mitigates risk and provides a scalable foundation for advanced automation, it said.

“Thank you to all the practitioners and vendors that entered their advanced solutions and services, and to A-Team Group’s independent, expert advisory board that worked in collaboration with our editorial team to select this year’s winners,” Delaney added. “We are proud to host such popular and competitive awards that do such a great job of highlighting the technology innovations that will be game changing for capital markets participants.”
