James Roberts

James Roberts joined ISDA as a Director in European Public Policy in 2016. Prior to joining ISDA, Mr. Roberts spent over 5 years working in policy roles at the UK Financial Conduct Authority and its predecessor organisation, the Financial Services Authority. Initially focussed on prudential regulation such as CRD IV and BRRD, as well as the EBA review of the prudential requirements for investment firms, after 4 years Mr. Roberts moved to work on MiFID II and EMIR, sitting on various ESMA taskforces.
Mr. Roberts holds a BA from the University of Warwick, and an MSc from the University of Oxford.
John Mason

In this role, John and his team are responsible for ensuring that Thomson Reuters is effectively addressing the industry’s regulatory challenges – of which MiFID is a particular focus area – and developing solutions across the entire product range to meet the evolving requirements of the financial market participants.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Mason ran the European Enterprise Solutions for Bloomberg and was also their Global Head of Regulatory Reporting. Before joining Bloomberg Mason was the Chief Operating Officer for Core One Technologies prior to its sale to Markit.
Peter Moss

Peter joined the company in August 2016 following 25 years at Thomson Reuters. During his time at Thomson Reuters he established the Thomson Reuters Enterprise business, lead the integration of the Thomson Financial and Reuters businesses, ran data and technology operations as CTO and most recently lead the Financial Division, a global $6bn revenue business.
Peter graduated from Bristol University with honours in Mathematics and Computer Science.
