Ben is CEO of ClearToken, a clearing house for digital assets currently in the process of seeking authorisation to become the first digitally native financial market infrastructure (FMI) for clearing and settlement. Ben is also a Non-Executive Director at digital asset Fintech Globalcap and former CTO and Managing Director of Nomura’s digital asset trading business, Laser Digital. He was formerly Global Head of Product Management at Instinet responsible for strategy & business development across software, trading, clearing and analytics.

Duncan Trenholme is a Managing Director, and Global Co-Head of Digital Assets at TP ICAP where he is responsible for setting the firms cryptoasset and tokenisation strategy and managing the portfolio of solutions launched within the Digital Assets business.

TP ICAP Digital Assets provides broking services to global clients across cryptoasset derivative products and offers spot trading through an FCA registered cryptoasset exchange, Fusion Digital Assets. Duncan oversees the continued growth of these solutions and is directing the company’s long-term vision of providing services for tokenised assets within traditional asset classes, by overseeing the build out of Fusion Clear, a product that provides access to blockchain-based asset classes.

Duncan has been at TP ICAP since 2008 after earning his Master of Physics (MPhys) degree from the University of Warwick. Prior to assuming his current position in 2019, Duncan held various other front-office roles within TP ICAP within the Equities Division of ICAP. He is a regular speaker at events including FIA IDX, FIX Trading, and Token2049 and provides comments across Bloomberg, Reuters, Coindesk and the FT.

Marco joined SIX Digital Exchange (SDX) in late 2018, close to its founding.

He is in charge of R&D with a focus on exploring new products and services and generally designing SDX to be fit for the future of digital assets and blockchain-enabled Financial Market Infrastructures.

Previously, he has been working as a technology & management consultant in financial services / capital markets with a focus in Switzerland.

Shawn Douglass (CEO and Co-Founder): Shawn Douglass is a business and technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Mr. Douglass is Co-founder and CEO of Amberdata, a leading provider of digital asset data infrastructure and market intelligence to financial institutions. Prior to founding Amberdata, Mr. Douglass served as President of Software and CTO at Unified, building and operating the company’s SaaS offerings in cross-platform data management and analytics, while assisting in raising $64M in venture funding. He also served as CTO at ServiceMesh (acquired by CSC for $282M) and drove strategy and vision for the ServiceMesh Agility Platform. Prior to ServiceMesh, he was Managing Director at EMC Ventures, where he led strategic investments in cloud, security, big data/analytics. He has held roles as Board Member, Operating Executive, Technologist, Advisor, Venture Investor, and derivatives trader. Mr. Douglass is a graduate of Harvard Business School.
