Chris joined HSBC Securities Services in 2006 and is a Senior Product Manager with responsibility for Market Data. Chris was previously at Threadneedle Investments where he was Head of Investment Information Services. Before then he was a Director at UBS. Chris started work in the city with Laurie, Milbank stockbrokers, in their futures and options operations team, continuing with Chase Manhattan for a further ten years, culminating in three years as head of the equity derivatives middle office. He also headed OTC derivative client valuations at Bankers Trust. Chris is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Dennis Slattery

Dennis Slattery, CEO of consulting and training firm EDMworks, has been working in Data Management since 1990. He has held senior positions at project, program and enterprise level and has successfully delivered data solutions for a wide variety of financial firms. He has seen how effective data management has delivered lower costs and greater flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs and regulatory requirements.

He has devised a series of specialised financial data management courses to enable firms to manage data through the key disciplines of data governance, strategy, architecture, design, development and operations. He is working with a consortium of leading global firms to implement financial data certification programs to provide a development pathway for data professionals.

Andy Adams is Head of Financial Regulatory Services in EMEA for Pricing and Reference Services at Thomson Reuters. After working in education, he spent several years at State Street in Mutual Fund Accounting before joining Thomson Reuters. At Thomson Reuters, he has held a wide variety of positions including Global Business Director, and Business Manager (Luxembourg). Most recently, Andy has worked in the Pricing and Reference Services team as a Regional Business Manager for Western Europe before beginning his current role in the second half of 2013. Andy holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a MBA from Miami University (Ohio) in the United States. He is a member of the Media and Technology of the British Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg and speaks French, German and Luxembourgish fluently.
