Recorded Webinar: Implications of MiFID II for Data Management

23 June 2016

MiFID II is shaping up to be one of the biggest regulations to impact the financial industry. While much of the regulation focuses on trading, there are many implications for data management. The webinar will explore issues effecting data management, including extended coverage of instruments and trading venues, new data fields, the mandate to use ISINs despite the lack of ISINs available for OTC derivatives markets, and the feasibility of creating ISINs dynamically in real time. We will also consider issues around data licensing when reporting to regulators, the prospect of a consolidated tape, the use of standards such as ISO 20022, transparency and more.

Listen to the webinar to find out about:

  • The state of play on MiFID II
  • The data management demand
  • Challenges raised by the regulation
  • Approaches to compliance
  • Meeting the 2018 deadline
