James Monahan

James (Jim) Monahan is an Executive Director and Regional Head of the America’s Institutional Asset Servicing Group at Morgan Stanley, managing groups in Baltimore and the New York Morgan Stanley offices. He attended St. John’s University with a major in English.  He is a Past President of the Corporate Action Section within SIFMA’s Operations and Technology Society, a member of the Capital Markets Working Group at SIFMA and a member of the DTCC Asset Advisory Board.  Jim has over 25 years brokerage operations experience with a primary focus being on domestic and global Corporate Actions, other areas of experience are: Risk Management, Stock Loan Operations, P&S reconciliations, Settlements and Global Project Management.

Kerry White

Independent Advisor and Corporate Actions Specialist, Formerly

JP Morgan & BNY Mellon

Kerry has been part of the financial services industry for over 30 years and currently serves as an Independent Advisor to Asset Management and Asset Servicing Firms, on various topics including Reference Data Management. Prior to this position, Ms. White was a Managing Director at BNY Mellon and J.P. Morgan where among various roles she led Asset Owner product strategy, and new product implementation and commercialization globally.
 
Prior to entering the Custody industry, Ms. White spent 8 years managing the middle and back office activities of an Investment Management firm, including all pricing, reference data, performance measurement, and portfolio reporting.
 
Ms. White holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University, and a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Brian has been leading industry initiatives for over 30 years and currently manages reference data content and corporate actions for Bloomberg. Brian is currently driving the launch of Bloomberg’s enhanced corporate action product offering to support trading, risk, accounting and settlement needs. Prior to joining Bloomberg Brian was COO of Capco Reference Data Services and Chief Knowledge Officer for Goldensource Corporation (formally Financial Technologies International), delivering technology and solutions to support centralized security master initiatives.
