Regulatory Data Handbook 2018/2019 – Sixth Edition

In a testament to the enduring popularity of the A-Team Regulatory Data Handbook, we are delighted to publish a sixth edition for 2018-19 of our comprehensive guide to all the regulations and rules that might impact data and data management at your institution.

As in previous editions of the Regulatory Data Handbook, we have updated every regulation to provide you with the latest details and more regulations have been added. All the regulations are accompanied by boxes showing an ‘at a glance’ description, significant milestones, upcoming dates for your diary and links to additional information. Many of the regulations are also complemented by suggested solutions from sponsors of the handbook.

As well as detailing regulatory obligations, we have added information on data and data management requirements for each regulation, and links to additional texts and publications that we hope you will find helpful. And with Brexit on the horizon, we have noted any known implications it might have on specific regulations.

New to the sixth edition are sections on AnaCredit, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Money Market Funds Regulation (MMFR). We also bring you updated coverage of the ever-evolving SEC rules, including new entries on the Current Expected Credit Loss model (CECL), Forms N-PORT and N-CEN covering reporting by registered investment firms, as well as Rules 15 and 17 that form part of the SEC Customer Protection Rule.

The new publication also provides an extensive review of the current state of play for the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II) and Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR), which have dominated the regulatory agenda for the past few years.
