Shadow Financial Systems Provides Access to Fincad’s Derivative Pricing Library

STP solution vendor Shadow Financial Systems has joined the Fincad Alliance Programme to enable users of its ShadowSuite application access to Fincad’s derivative pricing library. According to the vendors, this will allow users to independently value derivative positions during their post-trade processing and clearing operations.

The ShadowSuite software solution for post-trade processing, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, treasury and accounting will initially leverage Fincad’s analytics library to expand its swaps module by adding the ability to value floors, caps, collars, straddles and swaptions. The vendor hopes this access will allow greater transparency for its customers around valuations and reporting, says Don Marino, CEO of Shadow Financial Systems.

Fincad has experienced a busy start to the year with significant upgrades to two of its solutions, The Perfect Hedge and Fincad Analytics, and the rollout of its analytics solution at Markaz in Kuwait earlier this month.
